Every body is completely unique and in a constant state of change. Treatments will be varied based on your current physical, emotional, and energetic needs and can include any combination of the following which will be discussed before we begin.
RELAXATION | Light, relaxing full-body massage to ease tension in both body and mind.
DEEP TISSUE | Deeper pressure and myofascial release techniques including stretching and compression of muscle and connective tissue (fascia) to release restrictions, eliminate pain and restore movement. Perfect for yogis, athletes, bodyworkers, and those recovering from injury.
TFR | Targeted Fascial Release technique - deep tissue work to release fascial adhesions for optimal muscle health and mobility.
ACCUPRESSURE | Focused pressure, mobilization and stretching along the meridians to relieve tension and pain caused by restrictions to acupressure points and referral patterns.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE | Slow, rhythmic strokes to increase lymphatic flow and drain toxins from the body.
THAI MASSAGE | Nicknamed "lazy man's yoga" Thai Massage incorporates facilitated stretching, dynamic movement, rhythmic compressions, and breathwork to ease the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation. Typically practiced on a mat on the floor but can be done on a table and incorporated into other massage modalities.
CUPPING | Using cups and suction this technique enhances blood circulation and releases muscle tension. Cups will leave light bruising marks on the skin that typically fade within 4-7 days. Cupping can be added to your 60, 90, or 120 minute massage at no additional cost.
GUA SHA | Scraping of the skin, connective tissue, and muscle fibers using a Jade tool to increase heat and circulation to the body.
AROMATHERAPY | The use of one or several essential oils for physical and emotional benefits. AromaTouch Technique, Symphony of the Cells, or a custom blend of oils can be used. See Aromatherapy page to learn more.
Physical Therapy Exercises, Yoga/Mindful Movement, and Breathing recommendations can be discussed at the end of your session in order to maintain optimal structural and muscular function long after the manual therapy is over.
